PRSA is a founding member of The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, which was established a decade ago in response to the increasing globalization of trends and issues affecting public relations practitioners in their day-to-day professional practice.

Global Alliance projects include establishing a global code of ethics, benchmarking accreditation and curriculum standards, serving as a source of news and information about the profession and managing the World Public Relations Festival.
By virtue of PRSA's participation in the Global Alliance, PRSA members may access the benefits and resource offerings of more than 60 member organizations from around the world.
