Nominating Committee to Meet in Chicago to Make Selections

The following PRSA members have submitted applications to the PRSA 2010 Nominating Committee for review and consideration at its July 30–Aug. 1 meeting. The Nominating Committee will choose nominees for open 2011 national PRSA Board of Directors positions. The nominees, along with any petitioned candidates, will be presented at the PRSA Leadership Assembly on Oct. 16 for approval. Comment Letters Concerning Candidates
Members of the Society and other interested individuals are encouraged to send comment letters for candidates to the Nominating Committee. 

Candidates by Petition
Article VII, Section 5 of the PRSA Bylaws provides:  Nominations may also be made by petition by at least 10 Leadership Assembly delegates and filed with the secretary of the Society at the PRSA Headquarters at least 30 days (that is, Sept. 16, 2010) prior to the annual meeting of the Leadership Assembly. Immediately upon receipt of any such nominations, the secretary shall send a notice of such nominations to all members.
