Members Emeriti

PRSA Member Emeritus LogoPRSA honors and respects the loyalty of our long-term members, professionals who have served PRSA and the profession with distinction.

Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) members are conferred the title of “Member Emeritus” for 50 years of continuous involvement with the world’s largest organization of public relations professionals. PRSA hopes these Members Emeriti serve as an inspiration to the next generation of leaders.

Each PRSA Member Emeritus receives a pin and certificate denoting his/her status as a Member Emeritus, in addition to free Membership dues from this point forward.

PRSA 2013 Chair and CEO, Mickey G. Nall, APR, Fellow PRSA, introduced the inaugural class of Members Emeriti on June 15, 2013, as part of PRSA’s  Leadership Rally.

“The Member Emeritus program is a new way to remind public relations and communications professionals that PRSA is a lifelong career companion,” said Nall. “Whether you’re a member of our student society or a Member Emeritus, PRSA has products and services that support the achievement of your career aspirations.”
