CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Submission Deadline: Nov. 13, 2014, noon EST

The PRSA Connect 15 Conference is an event focused on empowering internal communicators to more effectively engage with employees, and better help their organizations achieve and exceed business goals. Be a part of this exciting event by submitting a proposal to present to your peers, and enjoy complimentary speaker registration and outstanding networking opportunities with colleagues.

Conference Overview

Our conference brings together communicators practicing all facets of internal communications to explore the changing dynamics of employee engagement. Attendees will gain new tools to inspire internal audiences through case studies that demonstrate measurable results.

Proposal Guidelines

To participate as a session speaker in this conference, please submit an innovative and compelling presentation proposal that supports this year’s theme, “Empower — Engage — Achieve.” Your proposal should relate specifically to the practice of internal communications as a means to build and sustain employee engagement, as well as business goals.

Presentations must be targeted to mid- and senior-level employee communications professionals. The strategies and practical applications in your proposal can focus on both traditional and new forms of communication outreach as they pertain to internal communications. Research of past event attendees and current PRSA Employee Communications Section members indicates a strong interest in:

Presentations using case studies and/or evidence of how engagement produced tangible and measurable business results are typically very successful. Proposed sessions should be 45 minutes in length, and presented by an individual or panel of no more than three experts.

Presentations from agencies, researchers, consultants and service providers are welcome if they are unbiased, educational, informative and innovative. We strongly suggest that such presenters include their clients as co-presenters. Pitches for a specific commercial service or product will not be considered.

Presentations should provide attendees with detailed knowledge and implementable tools. Proposals should accurately and completely represent the value proposition to audiences. We encourage you to include sufficient detail in your proposal to permit a thorough evaluation by the planning committee.

The planning committee may also invite speakers who submit proposals to participate in combined panel sessions that may differ from their proposed sessions, based on the audience’s interest/needs.

After the conference, PRSA will post speakers’ presentations online for conference attendees. Participation in the conference conveys to PRSA the right to use imagery, content, presentations, etc., for promotional purposes.
