Breakout Sessions: Set II
Get a global perspective on best practices used by health care PR professionals on six continents. This special presentation will reveal the findings of a new survey produced especially for our conference by the Public Relations Global Network — the fourth-largest network of independent PR firms in the world, with more than 70 offices globally. Case studies will showcase the differences and similarities in how health care communications are conducted in terms of media relations, the use of advertorials, protocols governing exhibits and health fairs, and global distribution of simultaneous news releases.
Attendees will gain insight into how PR firms around the world use social media to make an impact and track their metrics, using such platforms as Facebook Insights, tweet analyzers, Google Analytics, CRM patient satisfaction surveys and onsite iPad information. The presentation will also include examples of how incentives and contests in different countries are used to drive engagement among patient communities interested in heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
