Lee Rainie will discuss the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project’s latest research on how people get, share and create information in the digital age, as well as the Project’s specific findings on the rise of e-patients and how access to health and medical materials is evolving.

The Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project is a non-profit, non-partisan “fact tank” that studies the social impact of the internet. Lee is also a co-author of "Networked: The New Social Operating System," which was released last spring by MIT Press. He has co-authored five books about the future of the internet that are based on Project research. Prior to launching the Pew Internet Project, Lee was managing editor of U.S. News & World Report.
