Jason KellyJason Kelly is a writer with Bloomberg News covering the global private equity industry from New York. He is a frequent contributor to Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Businessweek, and the author of the forthcoming book, "The New Tycoons: Inside the Trillion Dollar Private Equity Industry that Owns Everything." Beyond covering investing, Kelly has covered stories ranging from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to economic development in Afghanistan. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he was the editor of digitalsouth magazine, a publication focused on technology and venture capital in the Southeast and Texas. He began his journalism career at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Atlanta Business Chronicle. He's a graduate of Georgetown University.
