Newell Rubbermaid has a vast portfolio of more than 30 brands, but three of them have made an especially strong impact through social media over the past three years. Led by Bert Dumars, vice president of e-business and interactive marketing, the company has carved out vibrant communities around its Graco baby products, its Rubbermaid containers and its Sharpie pen brands.
Bert DuMars, vice president, digital marketing & e-commerce, Newell Rubbermaid, is responsible for directing and coordinating digital marketing, ecommerce, mobile marketing and social media marketing initiatives for Newell Rubbermaid’s externally-facing online efforts. He developed and published in 2011 the global Newell Rubbermaid social media guidelines, digital marketing strategy, and mobile marketing guidelines. He was also the 2010 Association of Telecom Professionals (ATP) Enterprise Innovation Award winner.
