In this age of global insecurity, how do today’s corporate executives, ethics and compliance officers, and individuals react to threats of terrorism, violence, loss of assets and loss of reputation? How can we protect ourselves in an ethical manner? What are the values at stake and what are the ethical risks involved? Corporate ethics and economic law professionals address these questions and more.

He is the ethics officer of the PRSA New York Chapter, as well as a member (ex-officio) of the National Board of Ethics and Professional Standards.

Efraim Chalamish, Ph.D., professor, New York University School of Law

Photo of Efraim Chalamish, Ph.D. Chalamish is an international economic law scholar and practitioner. As an Of Counsel with Dorsey and Whitney in New York and a professor at the New York University School of Law, he explores global governance of corporations and the intersection of business and national security. His articles have been published in leading journals and magazines in the U.S. and Europe, and he is a frequent guest speaker at many international organizations.


Eric Malawer, chairman and chief executive officer, DeepMile Networks

(Photo Unavailable.) Prior to DeepMile, he served as the staff director for Intelligence, Information Sharing and Terrorism Risk Assessment on the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee. He served numerous tours overseas as an intelligence officer with the CIA.
