Public relations practitioners most often associate risk management with crises and scandals. However, there are other forms of risk that organizations need to manage — including new product and service introductions, a new CEO, employee communications and social media campaigns. Examine the kinds of risk that PR practitioners have to contend with, and how each one presents its own set of unique opportunities and challenges.

Feistman is a past board member of the PRSA Philadelphia Chapter, and recipient of several awards, including the 2010 Anthony J. Fulginiti Award for Commitment to PR Education, and 2012 School of Media & Communications’ Faculty Award for Service.
