Denyette DePierro joined the American Bankers Association (ABA) in March 2008 as senior counsel in the Office of Regulatory Policy. Prior to joining ABA, Denyette was legislative counsel at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) in Washington, D.C. and the California Independent Bankers in Newport Beach, California. At ABA, Denyette focuses on Dodd-Frank implementation, FDIC bank receivership and issues relating to emerging trends in banking, including peer-to-peer lending, microfinance, green banking and social media.
