Opening Reception
Created by the Smithsonian Institution, the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum’s exhibition about the birth of rock and soul music tells the story of musical pioneers who, for the love of music, overcame racial and socio-economic barriers to create music that shook the entire world.
*First half hour of this event is dedicated to providing first-time attendees with insight into making the most of the 2013 conference.
