What does this column have to do with you? How to quickly hook your readers

It’s easy to think that your topic is the topic. But your reader is really the topic. Instead of focusing on the news,  focus on the impact, or how the news affects your readers.  That will make your copy more interesting, relevant and valuable to your readers.
