Four of the communications industry’s leading digital experts discussed the impact of social networking and digital media and what will follow blogs, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as the next big thing. The panel, Cocktails & Conversations: Decoding Digital, was presented by New York Women in Communications on Dec. 1 at the AOL offices in New York City. Erin Matts, chief digital officer, OMD; Kristine Welker, vice president, sales and marketing, Hearst Magazine Digital Media; Dina Kaplan, chief operations officer, Blip.tv; and Erin Byrne, chief digital strategist, Burson-Marsteller, served as the panelists. Dorian Benkoil, co-founder and senior vice president, Teeming Media, served as the moderator.
