Deborah A. Silverman, Ph.D., APR, currently serves as chair of PRSA’s Board of Ethics and Professional Standards (BEPS), as a member of PRSA’s Definition of Public Relations Task Force and as PRSA’s representative on the Commission on Public Relations Education.

Orlando Regional Chapter President Peter Scott, APR has served in several PRSA volunteer capacities, including ethics and professional development, but reflects back to his first and favorite role as a Chapter board member – finance. As Scott explained, “It gives you the ability to see the inner workings of the entire Chapter – it’s a great opportunity to collaborate with every one of your fellow board members.” This makes sense since Scott, a former financial analyst, originally got his start in investor relations back in 1994.
Leah Moon is a 2008 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in journalism, with specializations in public relations and French. She is currently the social media specialist at Universal 1 Credit Union.
