Leah Moon

Leah Moon is a 2008 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in journalism, with specializations in public relations and French. She is currently the social media specialist at Universal 1 Credit Union. She advises the company on social media operations and manages all of their social media efforts as well as contributes to general marketing campaigns.
After being heavily involved in PRSSA at OU, Moon joined PRSA right after graduation. She has become very involved in PRSA by joining the Dayton Area Chapter and the New Professionals Section, where she will serve on both boards for 2012. After heading the New Professionals social media efforts for 2011, the Section has become one of the most active Sections in PRSA on Facebook and Twitter. Moon is also very excited to help in planning the first-ever New Professionals Week set to take place in November. The New Professionals Section will be partnering with local PRSA New Professionals groups around the country. When asked to describe her involvement with PRSA National, the New Professionals Section and Dayton Area Chapter, Moon offered that, “Sometimes it’s not about what you know or even who you know. It’s about finding your passion and doing what you love.”
