Brian Cross, co-founder, managing partner and director of rocket science, Elasticity
Cross is also the executive director of Fund St. Louis, a community crowdfunding not-for-profit organization focused on seed capital support for startup and early stage small businesses in the St. Louis region. Additionally, he is the co-founder of Rally Saint Louis, a nonprofit organization focused on citizen-led crowdfunding for a better region. He has more than 18 years of experience leading online marketing and outreach strategy, mobile programs and social media campaigns for Fortune 500, government, NGO, and NFP organizations.
Chris Sommers, co-founder, Givver
Sommers is a seasoned technologist, turned restaurateur and turned technologist. After his career in the high-tech sector ended after seven years at Salesforce.com, Sommers opened his first restaurant, Pi, on 3.14 in 2008. He recently returned to his roots in tech with another new startup, Sqwid, as well as co-founded Givver with Tom Carnahan. He is a board member and adviser to several nonprofits, and was recognized as a “40 Under 40” winner by the St. Louis Business Journal. The national New Leaders Council also awarded him with its “40 Under 40 Award” for his efforts as a progressive entrepreneur.
