The Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America serves the entire state from Huntsville to Mobile. With more than 100 members, we represent the entire spectrum of Alabama from multinational corporations to non-profits and independent practitioners. And we all share the same commitment to serving our employers and clients through effective programs of ethical communication based on responsible action. We seek to improve our skills, build relationships and enjoy good fellowship throughout the year. Our usual meeting times are on the second Tuesday of each month at the Alabama Power Metro Auditorium, 1313 6th Avenue North, in Birmingham. The meetings feature informative speakers, development opportunities, professional growth, networking with Alabama’s top professionals and Accreditation programs. PRSA National and the Alabama Chapter membership work hand in hand — giving you a full spectrum of benefits on national and local levels that will expand your knowledge and enhance your career. To join the Alabama Chapter of PRSA, you must be a member of PRSA national. New members may join the Alabama Chapter simultaneously with joining PRSA National. We’re always delighted to welcome new professionals moving into the area as well as students from the various public relations programs around the state.

“I took the local PRSA chapter for granted until I moved away for a few years. It’s amazing how much I missed the networking and professional development.”
