The West Michigan Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is comprised of more than 100 PRSA members living within the western half of the lower peninsula of Michigan, from Benton Harbor to Traverse City. Its mission is to help public relations professionals develop and sustain the essential knowledge, skills and standards, which will reinforce their integral role in the effective management of organizations. West Michigan PRSA also is committed to encouraging the growth of future public relations practitioners through outreach, scholarships and mentoring programs. The Chapter regularly works with local Public Relations Student Society of America Chapters, including Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University.

“Being active in WMPRSA has been essential for my growth as a young professional. I continually learn new industry standards and practices, while being mentored by some of the most talented practitioners in the area. I can attribute many of my accomplishments to the relationships I have built in this organization.”
