The Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA is an inclusive organization dedicated to enhancing the profession of public relations by promoting the professionalism of its members, as well as the public perception of the value of our contribution to the betterment of the community.
The Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA serves approximately 170 PR professionals in North Texas, primarily Tarrant County. While most of our members work in Fort Worth, population of more than 700,000, several live and work in neighboring cities of Dallas, Arlington, Irving, Mansfield, Denton and Abilene, to name a few.
Our members come from the public, corporate, nonprofit and agency sectors to create an organization serving as their professional home and as the area’s most prestigious public relations network. The Chapter has 11 voting board members and 22 chairs of committees or SIGs. We support three PRSSA chapters — Abilene Christian University, Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington — with scholarships and mentoring activities.
We are part of the Southwest District of PRSA, which includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, and Arkansas. The District organizes an annual district conference, rotated among host cities throughout the region.
