About Our Chapter

The White Pine Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America serves public relations and communications professionals in the Great Lakes Bay region, especially Saginaw, Bay, and Midland counties. Our members serve public relations communication agencies, Fortune 50 corporations, health care organizations, family businesses, universities and non-profit agencies. The White Pine Chapter offers beginning to senior-level practitioners a network to exchange information and industry best practices, provides professional development opportunities through continuing education programs, and recognizes excellence in public relations during an annual awards program. Chartered in 1988, the White Pine Chapter has approximately 35 members.

“One of the reasons I became involved in the White Pine PRSA Chapter early in my career is the opportunities to meet senior practitioners from various companies and organizations. I continue to find the networking personally rewarding, and the professional development programs as an investment in my career.”

- Holly LaRose-Roenicke, APR, Saginaw Valley State University
