T3PR Speaker Guidelines and Application
Proposed Presentations
PRSA seeks presentations that incorporate actionable best practices and measurable results on the conference theme, "Strategic Views on Technology and the Changing PR Landscape." Also, innovative presentations communicating new theories or technologies are welcome and encouraged.
- Speakers must refrain from any content that could be considered a “sales pitch.” Presentations from vendors will only be considered if they are unbiased, educational, informative and innovative.
- PRSA does not pay expenses such as hotels and airfare, nor offer speaker stipends.
This year’s conference concentrates on how PR professionals can stand out in the crowded field of social media. Experts will be expected to demonstrate how practitioners can facilitate more effective online engagement through shifts in strategic thinking and measured results.
Presentations will focus on:
- Creating an approach to listening/monitoring for strategic engagement.
- Developing and distributing creative social media content in web communities.
- Positioning brands as helpful resources through social media support.
- Upgrading customer service and developing stronger bonds with customers and company stakeholders.
- Generating long-term organizational value by managing social media connections and collaborations on networking platforms.
- Measuring/benchmarking participation alongside a company’s higher-level business goals.
