PRSA Global Affairs Committee presents the following panel at the 2014 PRSA International conference:
“PRSA Global Affairs Committee’s Best Practices: Global PR around the world”

The panel will feature best practices in global public relations in 2014, gathered by the members of PRSA Global Affairs Committee specifically for the PRSA conference participants. Presenters will share specific recommendations and suggestions, based on best practices, how to successfully approach global and international public relations in the
USA and abroad and how to help employees and managers understand the importance of global communication competency. Presenters will discuss best case studies based on their professional experiences in global public relations and best practices from different regions around the world. They will share with all attendees a list of global practical professional resources that highlight best practices of global public relations.

2 Discover the ways to get employees and management involved in understanding of the importance of global communication competency.
3 Share the best practices in global public relations and highlight challenges practitioners face around the world. Participants will have an opportunity to share their stories and network.
Mr. Quentin Langley
Senior Lecturer, University of Bedfordshire
Quentin Langley has more than twenty years' experience in PR practice and a decade teaching PR in universities. He was at Shell International during the Nigeria crisis and for the launch of TellShell.com. He has been on faculty in three universities in the UK and has guest lectures at another nine in the US and UK. He trains executives internationally in crisis and social media and blogs on the intersection of crisis and social at BrandjackNews.com
Dr. Katerina Tsetsura
Associate Professor, University of Oklahoma
Dr. Katerina Tsetsura is Gaylord Family professor of strategic communication in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma (OU). Dr. Tsetsura is an expert in global and international public relations. Prior to joining academia, she worked in journalism and public
relations. She has been a member of the National Commission on Public Relations Education for more than six years and now represents NCA on the Commission.
Dr. Dean Kruckeberg
Professor, University of North Carolina-Charlotte
Dr. Dean Kruckeberg, APR, Fellow PRSA, is a tenured full professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He was executive director of the Center for Global Public Relations, a service unit in that department, from 2008 to 2013. He has served as a Co-Chair of the National Commission on PR Education between 1997 and 2013. Under his leadership, the Commission has produced three major reports on standards in U.S. public relations education.
