Summary

2006 Silver Anvil Award Winner – Events and Observances (Seven or Fewer Days) – Associations / Non-Profit Organizations

“No ducks? What’s next?” In the state known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” this question seems absurd. But this past spring more than 40 hunting, fishing and environmental groups formed a coalition – an interesting blend of “guns and greens” – to bring this question to the Capital in St. Paul. The April 2 “Rally for Ducks, Wetlands and Clean Water” aimed to raise awareness, show a united front and help secure passage of a number of legislative initiatives. Working on an extremely short time frame, CLS provided strategic public relations counsel and assistance to the coalition on a pro bono basis.
