Gary McCormick, APR, Fellow PRSA, kicks off 2010 Cincinnati PRSA programming

PRSA’s Cincinnati Chapter hosted PRSA Chair and CEO Gary McCormick, APR, Fellow PRSA, during its luncheon on Jan. 12.
McCormick’s speech, “Welcome the New Year and a New Normal,” provided an optimistic outlook for public relations. He cited recent developments, such as technological advances and the changing role of the media, as positive indicators for the industry. To safeguard our brands in a 24/7 world, McCormick also emphasized the fundamental qualities of honesty and transparency.
Chapter members spoke with him about the powerful role PRSA plays in networking opportunities, the need for mentoring relationships and planning for success.
