In this special Ethics Month webinar, PRSA's Board of Professional
Standards (BEPS) provides insight and training for public relations
professionals on understanding how public relations crises can be
avoided or mitigated through ethical decision-making. The presentation
will dissect current cases in the news that raise ethical questions,
and explore alternative approaches using the PRSA Code of Ethics.
Additionally, BEPS will discuss how to apply the PRSA Code of Ethics
to situations facing public relations professionals.
Act Ethically and Carry On
The theme of this year's Ethics Month is "Act Ethically and Carry On."
The theme is a take on the 1939 "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster created
by the United Kingdom's Ministry and was designed to strengthen morale in the
face of potential wartime disaster. You can find a poster size copy in this
month's issue of Tactics.
