In this age of global insecurity, how do today’s corporate executives, ethics and compliance officers, and individuals react to threats of terrorism, violence, loss of assets and loss of reputation? How can we protect ourselves in an ethical manner? What are the values at stake and what are the ethical risks involved? Corporate ethics and economic law professionals address these questions and more.

Moderator
Emmanuel Tchividjian is senior vice president and chief ethics officer at Ruder Finn. He is the executive director of the company’s Ethics Consulting practice. He was Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional in 2006, and is a member of the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association. He is the ethics officer of the New York Chapter of PRSA, as well as a member (ex-officio) of the National Board of Ethics and Professional Standards.
Panelists
Efraim Chalamish, Ph.D., is an international economic law scholar and practitioner. As an Of Counsel with Dorsey and Whitney in New York and a professor at the New York University School of Law, he explores global governance of corporations and the intersection of business and national security. His articles have been published in leading journals and magazines in the U.S. and Europe, and he is a frequent guest speaker at many international organizations.
Eric Malawer is chairman and chief executive officer of DeepMile Networks, the leading
provider of social analytics to the U.S. intelligence community and Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to DeepMile, he served as the staff director for Intelligence, Information Sharing
and Terrorism Risk Assessment on the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security
