Two researchers have published the results of a study that identifies a link between Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and personal ethics.
Dr. Marlene Neill, APR, a full-time lecturer at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and Dr. Minette E. Drumwright, an associate professor at University of Texas, examined the practitioner’s role as an “organizational conscience,” and why and how practitioners use ethics.
Ann Peru Knabe, Ph.D., APR+M, is an Air Force Reserve public affairs officer assigned to the Pentagon. As a civilian, she teaches public relations full time at University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. She has more than 20 years of experience and currently serves on the Universal Accreditation Board.
