Partnering with students is a win for everyone

April 4, 2013

As president of the South Carolina Chapter of PRSA and a PR, marketing and communications executive for integrated agencies for a decade, I have had enriching experiences with students both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. They’ve taught me as much as I hope I’ve taught them.

Whether it’s through internships, volunteering to speak or work with PRSSA Chapters, or creating true collaborations and partnerships, there’s something that all PRSA members can do to support these promising students. I guarantee that you’ll come away from the experience learning something about yourself too — enhancing your own teaching and instructional skills while gaining a new perspective on the PR world.
