New Pros Mission The New Professional Affinity Group’s Mission is to provide career guidance, mentor relationships and professional development for PRSA new professionals as they navigate the start of their careers. The Group offers programs and services that address the critical needs of the new professional and strives to support PRSA recruitment and retention efforts. PRSA's national New Professionals Group meets career-development needs of all PRSA Members and Associate Members who are new to the profession, within their first three years of experience. New Professionals offers programs and services that address critical needs of the new professional: - Timely and relevant trend information about the public relations job market
- Best practices and advice for job hunters as well as those seeking to make fast strides in advancement and pay in their first one or two professional positions
- Personal mentoring contacts with senior PRSA professionals who want to help those new to the public relations profession succeed
- Links to chapter-level and national-level networking
- Hands-on leadership opportunities
