About the Counselors to Higher Education Section

If you are currently working in a senior- level role at a college or university in public relations and/or marketing, CHE is the special Professional Interest Section for you.

This PRSA Section is the premier forum for leaders in higher education communications. It focuses on serving the professional development and networking needs of college and university public relations officers in such areas as strategic communications planning, crisis and issues management, Web communications strategies, marketing, branding and internal communications.

While the Section's activities are targeted to senior level public relations practitioners at colleges and universities, CHE membership may also be of value to those who aspire to leadership positions in higher education public relations, as well as to those who consult in the area of college and university communications. Paralleling the mission of PRSA, this Section offers professional development, conducts research and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and experience.
