New Jobs for College Professors and Public Relations Staff

Are you looking for a job as a college or university professor? Do you want to work in the public relations department of a university? Now is the best time to post your resume to the PRSA Jobcenter. We have a new pricing package for colleges and universities to post jobs for only $150 — and it has worked beautifully. Within the past month, dozens of colleges have posted jobs to our site. But they can’t learn of your great qualifications unless you post your resume to our Jobcenter. For more information, please contact Richard Spector.

About the Educators Academy

In 1978, college and university public relations educators, both full- and part-time, and practitioners who share with educators a commitment to improving the quality of teaching and scholarly research in the field, were invited to be members of the Educators Academy.

Established that same year, the Educators Academy was developed to reach those college and university public relations educators and practitioners to further the advancement of teaching public relations in higher education.

The Educators Academy offers its Learning to Teach workshop at several points throughout the year. As part of the PRSA Educators Academy’s Learning to Teach initiative, this workshop, designed for those interested in transitioning into academe, shares with attendees the ins and outs of higher education.

In addition, the Section offers the following:

Educators Academy e-Group. The Educators Academy e-Group is an electronic exchange that provides an easy way to pose questions, share ideas and learn how colleagues resolve problems and issues. The e-Group is free to members of the Educators Academy.

Educational seminars. Special programs for the Educators Academy cover cutting-edge, relative subjects at the PRSA International Conference and in regional meetings. These educational functions offer valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues working in higher education.

Additional benefits of membership include receipt of the Academy's newsletter and membership survey information. Members will also receive reduced priced registration to Academy sponsored activities.

Annual dues are $60. Click here to join using our convenient online form.
