About the Financial Communications Section

Public relations professionals in corporations, consulting firms and organizations concerned with the financial and business media, shareholders and the investment community comprise this Section. Section programming facilitates the exchange of ideas and information about relevant trends in financial and business media relations, investor relations, corporate governance issues, plus keeping members current on the activities at the Securities Exchange Commission, Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and other relevant bodies. Resources include a Web site, an e-group, a membership directory, reduced registration fees to Section teleseminars and on-site seminars, as well as the networking opportunities at the Sections professional development session and dinner at the PRSA International Conference.
