The PRSA Military and Public Safety Professional Interest Section The Military and Public Safety (MPS) Professional Interest Section strives to enhance the overall knowledge and skills of public affairs and communications professionals in both the military branches of the armed services and emergency services (public safety) organizations across the nation when rapid and accurate information for the general public is critical during times of uncertainty and duress. Accordingly, the section focuses on practical planning, intensive training and examining communications challenges that arise during military operations and domestic emergencies, whether they are natural or human-made.
