Writing That Sells - Products, Services and Ideas

Are your messages actually being read? Americans are bombarded with more than 5,000 messages a day — more than a million pieces of information a year. They toss most of that material without even looking at it. Learn from Ann Wylie how to put your communications among the fraction your “reader” actually reads.

Teleseminars

These 60- or 90-minute phone programs are presented by industry experts.  Some teleseminars include a Web presentation. Registration is per site and speakerphones are encouraged for group participation. Listeners may interact with the speaker and ask specific questions.

Another professional development option is access for teleseminars and webinars through our Play-Back registration. The Play-Back feature allows you to register for a PRSA teleseminar or webinar and access it at your convenience for up to  four months following the live event. Your registration confirmation, sent via e-mail, includes one-time access to the Play-Back and handouts. Great for team learning — now you can listen and learn based on your schedule.

On demand learning modules are also accessible from our online partner programs. Not time-sensitive, archived Web casts can be used at your convenience. Although there is no live Q&A, most speaker contact information is available for your follow-up questions. Registration is per site.

Accreditation (APR)

Accredited in Public Relations (APR) is a mark of distinction for public relations professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and to its ethical practice. These professionals are selected based on broad knowledge, strategic perspective and sound professional judgment via the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations. The Examination for Accreditation is overseen by the Universal Accreditation Board, which is made up of representatives from PRSA and eight other communications organizations.
