Editorial Policy for the Public Relations Journal


Editorial Scope:

Public Relations Journal is a quarterly journal presented by the Public Relations Society of America and dedicated to the online “publishing” of articles by academics or practitioners that examine public relations in depth and/or create, test or expand public relations theory. Also encouraged are notes on research in brief and book reviews. We accept all appropriate methodologies including social-scientific, case studies, philosophical, legal/historical and critical.

Audience:
The Journal’s main audience is practitioners, scholars and students of public relations and other aspects of applied organizational communication.
Double-Blind Review:
All articles considered for publication in the Public Relations Journal will be screened by editors in an attempt to determine relevance and then submitted to a panel of two or more referees, always including at least one scholar and a practitioner.
