Travel and Tourism Section

The Travel and Tourism Section is for public relations and communication professionals whose specialty is in travel or hospitality-related organizations. This specialized group of more than 500 members is passionate about exchanging knowledge through providing tips and tactics through our annual conference, teleseminars, social media tools, Web resources and travel industry calendar.

To become a member of the Travel and Tourism Section, you must be a member of PRSA and pay an additional fee of $65.

Compete in This Year’s Travel Trends Throwdown

Back by popular demand, PRSA brings a Family Feud-inspired throw down to the conference, called “Travel Trends Throwdown” and it will take place on Tuesday, June 18th at 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the main ballroom.

The event will run four teams of PR pros through a gauntlet of tourism PR trivia. The answers have been surveyed from the industry’s top travel journalists.In the end we’ll see one final team take home the coveted “Travel Throwdown” trophy (and a $100 Delta Vacations gift certificate). Survey Says this will be one fast-paced, hilarious and insightful competition attendees won’t want to miss.
