Celebrate Diversity and 75 years of PRSA Connecting Professionals and Moving PR Forward

Diversity & Inclusion Membership Dues Scholarship

In recognition of PRSA's upcoming 75th anniversary (to be commemorated January 2022 to January 2023), several exciting new initiatives are underway. As we seek to improve diversity and inclusion in our membership and in the broader profession we remain grateful to our Partners who make these programs possible.

PRSA Partners will underwrite PRSSA membership dues for 350 diverse non-member students, as well as PRSA first-year membership dues for 350 current PRSSA members who are graduating in December 2021 or in Spring 2022 and represent any underrepresented population.

 

Specifically, the criteria for the member scholarships are outlined below:

PRSSA Membership Scholarships
  • Must be a new Freshman, Sophomore or Junior.
  • Must be a diverse student which includes but is not limited to: racial and/or ethnic diversity such as Hispanic/Latinx, African American or Black or representation of any underrepresented population such as LGBTQ+, age, religion, ability, etc. If you have questions regarding whether you qualify or not, please contact PRSSA Headquarters at prssa@prsa.org.
  • Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA .
PRSA Membership Scholarships
  • Must be graduating in December 2021 or in Spring 2022.
  • Must be a diverse student which includes but is not limited to: racial and/or ethnic diversity such as Hispanic/Latinx, African American or Black or representation of any underrepresented population such as LGBTQ+, age, religion, ability, etc. If you have questions regarding whether you qualify or not, please contact PRSSA Headquarters at prssa@prsa.org.
  • Must currently have a minimum 2.75 GPA.

Selected students must also agree to five hours of mandatory online programming. Details for programming will be provided when finalized.
