Brooke W. McKeever, Ph.D.
Brooke W. McKeever, Ph.D., is a professor and chair of the Department of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Alabama. Her research focuses on nonprofit public relations and health communication. She has published numerous journal articles and an edited book and has received awards for her research and teaching. She is a senior research fellow with The Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication and a co-investigator with the USC Prevention Research Center. Before earning a Ph.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill, McKeever worked for a public relations agency in Chicago and for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
