Kathleen Donohue Rennie, Ph.D., APR, Fellow PRSA, is a unique combination of integrated marketing communication practitioner, faculty member and academic leader.

Her experience in setting the strategic direction for academic programs in alignment with marketplace expectations extends two decades and three levels of higher education – undergraduate, graduate and doctoral. Kathy served as Chair of the Marketing Department and Associate Professor in the NJCU School of Business for nine years. At NJCU, she also taught crisis communication and mentored doctoral dissertations in NJCU’s doctoral program in National Security Studies. Prior to NJCU, Kathy led Seton Hall University’s undergraduate public relations education program for 20 years, advancing it to become one of the best public relations programs in the region.

With 25+ years of experience through her consulting firm, Kathy has developed and implemented strategic integrated marketing communication campaigns for a broad range of clients, including those in pharmaceutical, healthcare, education, banking, technology, energy, business-to-business, and more. Before forming her firm, she was the spokesperson and media relations representative for NJ TRANSIT. 

Kathy’s service on several international boards and committees underscores her commitment to improving and diversifying the practice of and education for integrated marketing communication and related fields.
