Jaron Terry, MS, APR, Fellow PRSA, is a member of PRSA's national D&I committee, past president, Central Ohio chapter and has successfully presented at ICON in past years. In 2016, as chapter Ethics Officer, Terry co-led a task force to implement a D&I initiative leading to the national PRSA Chapter D&I Award Honorable Mention at ICON2017.

An independent practitioner since 1995, she is president, Jaron Terry Communications (jaronterrycommunications.com), where she utilizes the full gamut of public relations and marketing communications tools to favorably position organizations within their target markets. Specializing in health care, she is well-versed in strategic planning, media relations and marketing communications, and is an accomplished speaker and writer with numerous awards, including Practitioner of the Year.

She is adjunct faculty, Franklin University, teaching Crisis Communications and Creative Thinking, and serves as volunteer president of the board of PFLAG Columbus (Ohio), which supports, advocates, and educates on behalf of parents, families and friends of LGBTQ persons.

She holds a BS in Mass Communications, magna cum laude, and an MS in Media Management, from Virginia Commonwealth University.
