Sharing the Philadelphia Story Worldwide: Danielle Cohn on Representing Her Favorite City

October 1, 2013

Danielle Cohn has been active in the PR profession since her senior year at Temple University, nearly 20 years ago. As vice president of marketing and communications for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB), she is responsible for positioning Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Convention Center as a meeting and tourist destination.

Previously, she has worked in public relations and marketing for an architecture firm and an agency, and for a variety of special events and sporting events. Cohn served as an executive on loan to the City of Philadelphia and was co-chair of the Mayor’s Philadelphia Executive Marketing Council. She chairs the Communications Council for the U.S. Travel Association.

Cohn says her favorite part of her job is “that I work with passionate people and get to represent my favorite city, share its stories with the world and still get excited by what I discover in my own backyard.”
