Alex Ortiz, Vice President, Information Technology

Alex Ortiz, MCSE, is the Vice President, Information Technology for PRSA, overseeing information technology, digital platforms, support services and the help desk. He is responsible for leading PRSA’s technology strategy, infrastructure and digital experience to support both staff operations and member engagement.

With more than 30 years at PRSA, Ortiz is one of the organization’s longest-tenured employees and has played a pivotal role in its technological evolution. He was instrumental in the launch of PRSA’s first website in 1995 and its first online member portal in 2001, as well as subsequent digital enhancements that continue to support the organization’s growth.

Ortiz began his career at PRSA as a membership service representative before transitioning into information technology, where he has taken on increasing responsibility in network infrastructure, systems management and digital operations. He holds multiple technical certifications in network engineering, database administration, association management systems and business process re-engineering.
