What are the conference dates?
ICON 2020 will take place October 26-29. 

Will there be a separate conference for PRSSA students?
This year’s conference is open to professionals and students. There will be programming tailored to each audience throughout each of the four days. 

What is the registration price?
Registration is $795 for PRSA members. Nonmembers have the option of purchasing a full conference registration for $910, which includes a one-year membership to PRSA. 

PRSSA student and faculty adviser registration fees are $159/$195 for nonmembers. 

What if I already registered for the conference before it was announced as a virtual event?
If you registered to attend the conference in Nashville, Tennessee, you will be automatically registered to attend the virtual event. The difference in cost will be refunded to your original payment method. If you need to cancel your registration or want to defer it to 2021, please contact the Member Services department at 212-460-1400 or memberservices@prsa.org. There are no administrative fees associated with either of those options. 

What types of sessions will be offered?
There will be a multitude of educational offerings that cover a wide variety of topics important to today’s communications professional. Programs in marketing communication, digital communication, leadership and management, data and measurement, and reputation and crisis management will help enhance your skills and the knowledge you need to stay current in the industry and better serve your organizations and clients.

Will ICON 2020 include networking opportunities?
Networking is the hallmark of PRSA’s annual conference, and we are creating myriad ways for you to interact with your fellow members and colleagues in the communications profession. There will be opportunities to chat one-on-one and in small group settings, as well as the chance to join private group meetings and moderated discussion rooms. There will also be a virtual networking lounge available throughout the four days of sessions. 

Will there be an exhibit hall? 
We have big plans this year to showcase our sponsors products and services. The exhibit hall will look a little different in 2020 but attendees will still have access to a number of interactive resources that will make them feel like they’re on-site.

Is there a limit to how many people can attend a session?
ICON 2020 sessions will be available to a nearly unlimited number of attendees during each session. 

Will I be seen onscreen as part of the audience?
Only the presenter(s) will be shown on screen.

Will I be able to ask questions at the sessions?
The chat function for attendees will be easily accessible on the platform and we encourage you to interact with the presenters.

Will I be able to access from a PC? A Mac? A mobile phone?
Attendees can access the virtual event from any device and any platform. 

Will the sessions be available on demand?
Many of our sessions will be available for later viewing on demand.

What if I already made hotel arrangements?
If you booked a room at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center when you registered for the conference, or through the PRSA website, your reservation will be cancelled by the hotel directly. All other cancellations are the responsibility of the reservation holder.

Who should I contact if I am a member of the media who wants to attend the conference?
