Submission Tips To Consider

Priority will be given to proven presenters whose proposals are forward-thinking and deliver fresh, compelling content. Proposals that are interactive and/or provide an output that participants can use immediately also are strongly encouraged.

To create robust ICON 2023 programming, we are looking for a variety of presentation formats, so please keep this in mind as you develop your proposal.

Be creative and think outside the box about how you deliver your presentation! Presentation formats should be dynamic and interactive and can consist of an individual presenter, co-presenters (no more than three presenters total, including moderator) in an interview-style, fireside chat or panel presentation.

Proposals that identify more than three panelists (including moderator) will not be reviewed or considered.

Proposals should fit in one of the following learning tracks:

  • Big Data & Measurement
  • Digital Communication
  • Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG)
  • Health Care
  • Leadership & Management
  • Marketing Communications
  • Reputation & Crisis Management
  • Special Interests
  • Tools & Techniques

Judging Information
All proposals will be shared randomly with a panel of judges that are PRSA members drawn from past PRSA chairs, PRSA leadership, College of Fellows, Anvil judges and other senior-level communication professionals.

Speaker Registration
For proposals that are accepted, speakers are offered a special discounted speaker registration rate. Accepted speakers are responsible for all out-of-pocket expenses such as hotel stay and airfare. PRSA is unable to provide speaker stipends or honorariums.
