PRSA Reveals List of Finalists for the 2018 Silver Anvil Awards

NEW YORK (March 28, 2018) – The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced the 2018 Silver Anvil finalists. The Silver Anvil Awards are the communication industry’s oldest and most esteemed award.

Winners will be announced at the PRSA 2018 Silver Anvil Awards Ceremony on June 7, 2018 at the Edison Ballroom, in the heart of Manhattan’s theater district.

Trends noted by judges among this year’s entries included a stronger focus on the use of social media and digital technology, including how metrics tie to business results; campaigns designed to improve company’s reputations; innovative activities in the area of brand marketing; and crisis management.

“PRSA’s Silver Anvil Awards provide a great opportunity to recognize the important and innovative work being done by communicators throughout the profession,” said 2018 PRSA National Chair Anthony D’Angelo, APR, Fellow PRSA. “This year’s finalists reflect not only the broad changes that are redefining communicators’ roles, but also the bold ways these professionals are helping their clients and employers attain their goals.”
