PRSSA National President Resigns

NEW YORK (Sept. 24, 2018) – The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) announced today that Andrew Young, a student at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn., resigned as the Society’s National President, effective immediately. PRSSA is grateful for his service and contributions to the Society and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

PRSSA’s Immediate Past President Andrew Cook, along with the PRSSA National Headquarters staff, led by Executive Director Jeneen Garcia, will take on the role and responsibilities of the National President until further notice.

“National Headquarters is working closely with a poised and prepared National Committee to ensure the member experience remains intact,” said Jeneen Garcia, Executive Director, PRSSA. “Providing members with opportunities to enhance their education, broaden their network and launch their careers remains the paramount mission of the Society.”
