PRSA Announces the Finalists for the 2021 Silver Anvil Awards

NEW YORK, March 31, 2021PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced today the finalists for the 2021 Silver Anvil Awards, which honor outstanding strategic public relations programs that meet the highest standards of performance in the profession. This year’s ceremony will be held as a virtual event on June 10 at 4:00 PM ET, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Many of this year’s entries and finalists focused on the coronavirus pandemic, demonstrating innovative and important ways that campaigns could deliver messages surrounding safety, education and hope,” said Michelle Olson, APR, PRSA 2021 Chair. “I congratulate all of this year’s finalists for their outstanding work, and look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s virtual celebration.”

More than 100 campaigns across 84 categories and subcategories have been named as finalists, including submissions from leading brands, agencies, non-profit organizations, government agencies and universities. The most entered categories included Crisis Communications/COVID-19 Challenges; Influencer Marketing; Public Service; Content Marketing; CSR; Integrated Communications; and Multicultural Public Relations.

Among the finalists are Edelman; FleishmanHillard; Ketchum; Weber Shandwick and TURNER, as well as iconic brands including AT&T; Clorox; FedEx; General Motors and LinkedIn.
