PRSA Launches APR Month 2026 With New Brand Logo, Learning Tools and Candidate Support

Apr. 2, 2026

NEW YORK, April 2, 2026 – PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced the launch of APR Month 2026, a month-long initiative designed to elevate awareness and participation in the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential.

Designed to support professionals at every stage of the journey, this year’s campaign introduces a refreshed APR logo, enhanced learning tools, and expanded access to APR leaders, all aimed at making the path clearer, structured and achievable.

“APR represents a commitment to the highest standard of strategic thinking, ethical practice and leadership in our profession,” said PRSA CEO Matthew Marcial, CAE, APR. “APR Month is about removing barriers, providing the right tools and empowering more professionals to take that next step in their careers.”

New for APR Month 2026

As part of this year’s campaign, PRSA is introducing several new resources to support candidates at every stage of the APR process:

  • Refreshed APR Logo
PRSA is unveiling a newly designed APR logo that reflects the modern communications landscape[LB1]  while reinforcing the credential’s legacy of excellence and credibility.
  • New APR Virtual Study Course
A newly enhanced APR Virtual Study Course provides a more structured, accessible, and comprehensive learning experience. The updated program includes strategic communication frameworks, guided exercises and preparation tools aligned to both the Panel Presentation and APR Examination.
  • Ask the APR Expert (April 28)
A 2026 version of the live Q&A session gives prospective candidates direct access to APR leaders and recently accredited professionals. The session is designed to demystify the process and provide actionable insights.
  • APR Virtual Boot Camp (April 29–May 1)
PRSA’s signature APR Boot Camp returns in its virtual format, offering an intensive, multi-day preparation experience led by qualified professionals. Participants will gain practical guidance on the Panel Presentation, exam structure and application of the RPIE framework to real-world communications challenges.

Together, these offerings are designed to increase access, build confidence and help candidates progress.

Supporting Professional Growth and Credibility

APR Month supports PRSA’s broader strategic priorities by strengthening professional credibility, increasing participation in APR programs and fostering long-term engagement across the communications community.

Earning the APR credential signifies mastery of the RPIE (Research, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation) framework and a commitment to ethical and strategic leadership in communications. Throughout April, PRSA will also spotlight APR professionals, share educational content and provide resources to help candidates get started.
