Eunice Choi
Eunice Choi is the regional director and a certified business analyst with the Small Business Development Center at UCF. Under her leadership, the SBDC at UCF has substantially increased external funds that have enabled the Center to grow from seven sub-center offices in addition to the main office in Orlando, serving an eight-county area with 33 staff members.
During her tenure with the SBDC, Eunice’s assistance has resulted in a substantial economic impact for many small businesses, including total capital formation of over $43 million. She has consulted over 1600 businesses and has taught over 130 workshops to over 2500 people. Eunice has also received numerous performance awards, including the prestigious Excalibur Award and the CBA Impact Award for her outstanding contributions to the economic development in the eight-county Central Florida Region. She also won the State Star Performer Award in 2002, which is the highest recognition in her field.
Her major expertise in consulting is sources of financing, including SBA loan package development. She helps entrepreneurs evaluate their financial status and determine the best financing option available. Eunice also provides in-depth financial analysis for established companies, recommending courses of action based on company strengths and weaknesses. Her other areas of consulting include accounting, taxes, cost control, business planning, and business valuation.
